Lucy has been grooming professionally for over a decade. Her calm energy and genuine love for animals is felt from the moment your pet walks through the door. Specialising in anxious dogs and complex breeds, she's the reason so many clients keep coming back.
Megan
Senior Groomer
Megan brings warmth and creativity to every groom. With a background in dog behaviour, she has an intuitive understanding of what makes each dog tick — and how to make the experience as positive as possible.
Tom
Grooming Assistant
Tom handles washing, drying and prep with a gentle touch that puts even the most nervous pets at ease. He's training towards his full grooming qualification and brings enthusiasm to everything he does.
Our Story and Commitment to Pets
Lucy's Groom Room began in a small converted garage on Saddlewood Avenue. Lucy, frustrated by rushed, impersonal grooming salons, decided to create something different — a space where pets were truly the priority.
Word spread quickly. Neighbours, friends, and eventually people travelling from across Manchester began booking with Lucy because they could see the difference her approach made. Their previously anxious dogs would come home calm. Their high-maintenance breeds were finally being groomed properly.
Today, Lucy's Groom Room remains rooted in those same values — patience, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to animal welfare. We've grown, but our promise hasn't changed: no session is ever rushed.
